The RAM Plus feature introduced with Samsung's One UI 4.1 was meant to bring performance improvements to a variety of Samsung devices, including Galaxy smartphones and tablets like the Galaxy Tab S7. While it has been supplanted by One UI 5.0 (based on the excellent Android 13 OS), many of its features are still kicking around, including the problematic RAM Plus tool.

In theory, RAM Plus improves multitasking on your Galaxy phone by allocating part of your phone's internal storage as virtual memory. However, in reality, it may make your Galaxy devices run slower. This feature is usually enabled by default, so if you're finding that your new Samsung Galaxy phone is running slower than expected, read on to find out how to disable Samsung RAM Plus.

This feature might seem like a good option for mid range phones and phones in general who have less RAM that’s not able to hold many apps open in the background. For a step by step guide on how to turn off RAM plus option you can check out the following video.

Further you can also do one more thing and that is to clear cache of your Galaxy phone. Few Samsung S24 users are reporting battery drain and lag with their Galaxy S24. Once again the steps on how to clear cache have been shared in the video above.
