Samsung should finally introduce Snapdragon chipset to Galaxy Smartwatches
Thanks to Revengus Tech on X for confirming this news. If this trend continues Samsung might eventually use Snapdragon for its next Gen Galaxy Watch.
It’s about time that Samsung should finally ditch Exynos in favor of Snapdragon chipset for their Galaxy lineup of smartwatches.
The Exynos W940 is Samsung's latest addition to its Exynos lineup of processors, designed to power a range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. With promises of improved performance, efficiency, and cutting-edge features, the Exynos W940 was poised to be a significant player in the competitive semiconductor market.
Despite its potential, reports have emerged suggesting that Samsung is grappling with low yields in the production of the Exynos W940. Low yields refer to the proportion of usable chips produced in a manufacturing process compared to the total number of chips manufactured. In the case of the Exynos W940, low yields indicate that a significant portion of the produced chips may not meet quality standards or performance requirements, leading to production inefficiencies and potential delays.
